DC Fast Charging bypasses all of the limitations of the on-board charger and required conversion, providing DC power directly to the battery. Charging speed greatly increased. Charging time depends on the battery capacity and the output of the dispenser, etc., however, most vehicles are capable of charging to an 80% charge in about an hour by using DC fast chargers.
